I stayed up all night long watching the aurora borealis from a site just west of Blair, NE.  The display was fantastic and kept coming in waves beginning just after 01:00am local time.  I was busily clicking photos until my battery was exhausted, then when I put in my spare....NOOOOO it was no good!  This small time lapse clip is just an example of one of the many outburst that I saw last night.  I have seen aurora many times from Nebraska, but his display was simply fantastic as it kept coming in waves all night long, right up until dawn.
