Here is but just one example of the many many many forms of transportation here in China. You can't see it too well in the picture, but this little car/scooter has a coal fired heater bellowing out putrid smoke as it warms it's driver. He was so proud to have his picture taken, and kept grinning from ear to ear. Bicycles are very popular, even in the frigid temperatures. Motorcycles and scooters are equipped with "handle bar muffs" to keep your hands warm while driving. And if you don't have a horn, your just not going to get anywhere because that is the preferred method for letting others know you are "coming through!"
